SAR Andy 2019

A Mandatory SAR for 'Andy' was published in March 2019 and written by independent author Professor Michael Preston-Shoot.

Andy lived in Salford and had complex medical needs. He often refused treatments, assessments and support and lived in poor conditions. He was not claiming all the benefits he was entitled to, and Andy would rarely engage with efforts made to improve his financial and living conditions. Andy sadly passed away at home at 32 years old.
