SAR Harry (2025)

'Harry' (pseudonym) is a life-long Salford resident who has struggled to manage his mental health and drug addiction.  He has lived relatively independently for over 20 years, with some support from his family. He was the victim of exploitation which had serious consequences on his health and wellbeing.

The SSAB respects Harry's right to privacy and confidentiality, therefore the full report cannot be published due to the sensitive content.  The Briefing Document aims to provide a summary of the key areas of learning and good practice identified by the review.

The Briefing Document also highlights resources that professionals can access to support continuous improvement and development. 

The review identified the following learning themes:
